Magic Key magic show 2022

The College of Magic is bringing Cape Town audiences a spectacular live experience full of magic, drama, comedy, juggling and a whole lot of fun! Join us on an uplifting journey as we discover intriguing worlds of mystery, magic and illusion. World-famous for creating astonishing family experiences, this will be the largest show this unique organisation has staged since 2010.

Ntombi is on a quest to find her sister and along the way encounters the most incredible never-before-seen illusions and “wow” moments as a group of unexpected characters entertain, delight and inspire. She faces a hallway of doors and must find the “right key, for the right door”, the Magic Key.

The experience starts from the moment you arrive at the theatre with special performances, photo opportunities and other ‘happenings’ taking place in the foyer before the show and during interval. “The Magic Key” is sure to have young and old applauding loudly and believing in magic once again!

The Magic Key runs from the 1st of June, till the 4th of June 2022. Taking place at the Artscape Theatre.
Tickets (R149- R165) can be booked through Computicket.

I am so looking forward to seeing this show.

The magicians and other cast members have been so hard at work getting the show ready. I wish them all the best in the World with this.

See you there!

Update on The Magic Key show

Update June 2022 on the Magic Key show.

This was the best magic show i have seen from the College of Magic (i have been to see the majority of the College of Magic shows since the 1980’s).

The production was superb, i walked out thinking that this show really should have had a longer run, or been to a few theatres for a chance for more people to get to see this. (i believe there may be a dvd release at a later stage).

Kudos to the team and especially to Chad Findlay.

Let’s hope that we get to see many more.
